What fuel is suitable for my stove?

Our stoves are suitable for use with wood, peat, coal, coke and smokeless fuel.

In smoke control areas our multi-fuel stoves are suitable for use with smokeless fuels (which will be the only fuel your local coal man can legally sell you).

  • Please note that cite based fuels, such as anthracite heat to a higher temperature than wood and coal, therefore when using a cite based superfuel less is required. Cite based fuels are the fuels which kicked off the industrial revolution due to their high calorific value. They are used in the smelting process so over stocking of a cite based fuel can lead to accidental over firing of your multi burners.
